「チョコレート人気ランキング」「チョコレート売れ筋ランキング」を見ていると、必ずと言って良いほど上位に選出されているブラックサンダー。
当初は九州限定で販売されていたようですが、今では日本じゅうのコンビニやスーパーで見られる大ヒット商品です。
そんなブラックサンダーの大阪限定ver.が、「大阪ブラックサンダー コテコテ雷神」。
パッケージを開けると、キャラメルの香ばしい甘い匂いが広がります。
いつものザクザク食感はもちろん、キャラメルチョコレートとキャラメリゼされたアーモンドが濃厚で、かなり美味しい！
「コテコテ雷神」という謎のネーミングは、このキャラメルの濃厚さを表現しているものと思われます。

ちなみに……「大阪限定でなぜキャラメル味？」と思っていたのですが、この大阪ブラックサンダーを召し上がった金属バット（お笑いコンビ）の友保さんが「キャラメル？グリコやから？」とおっしゃっていたのを聞いて、なるほど！と思いました。
大阪名物である道頓堀の「グリコの看板」から着想を得ているのかもしれませんね。
また、パッケージは通天閣や大阪城、海遊館などの観光名所がネオンカラーでデザインされていて、他の地域限定ブラックサンダーと比べてみても派手派手で可愛いです。

「大阪ブラックサンダー」の賞味期限は、製造月より8ヶ月です。
かなり長持ちするので、安心して購入することができますね。
常温で持ち歩きできますが、チョコレート製品のため、28度以下の保存が推奨されています。

I bought mine at the Entrée Marché attached to the Seven-Eleven inside JR Osaka Station, and since it is available at many different locations, it should be fairly easy to find.
