「メロウウィッチ」とは？
「メロウウィッチ」は岐阜の洋菓子専門店「ナガラタタン」が展開する焼き菓子屋さんで、東京渋谷と沖縄に3店舗のお店があります。
「宝石のような」と形容されるカラフルでおしゃれな手のひらサイズのパウンドケーキを販売されていて、12種類以上のフレーバーと40種類以上のパッケージからオリジナルのギフトを作ることができます♪
自分のためにフレーバーやパッケージを厳選するのも、贈る相手のことを想像しながらあれこれ悩むのも、どちらもテンションが上がりそうですね！
ナッツやフルーツが贅沢に使われているので、1個食べただけでも満足感があるのですが……これだけ多くの種類のフレーバーやパッケージがあると、ついついたくさん買ってしまいそうですね。
多くの個性的なフレーバーのなかでも、鮮やかな赤が目をひく「フランボワーズ」や、ココアビスケットが大胆に乗ったその名も「ビスケット」、女性人気が高そうな「杏仁アプリコット」が定番のようです。
沖縄の店舗では限定フレーバーが10種類もあり、「ハイビスカス」や「マンゴー」などの南国をイメージするフレーバーが人気を集めているほか、「さんぴん茶」などの興味をひかれるフレーバーもありましたよ！
春には「さくら」、秋には「パンプキン」など、季節限定のフレーバーやパッケージもあるそうなので、こちらも要チェックです。
賞味期限は？何個入り？
「メロウウィッチ」はさまざまなフレーバーがあるため、フレーバーによって賞味期限も異なるのか、ネット上で確認できただけでも「製造日から約2週間/約30日/約60日」の3種類がありました。
購入される際は、事前に確認をした方が良さそうです。
いずれにせよ、約2週間お日持ちがして、しかも常温で保存できるのは、お土産としてかなり有難い存在です！
個包装なの？何個入り？
「メロウウィッチ」は、1つ1つ個包装され、可愛らしいBOXに入っています！
1個あたり約400円と、職場などのバラまき用のお土産として購入するには少々お高めかな、とは思いますが……
職場などで「好きなの選んで！」と言われたら、「どれにしようかな〜」と場が盛り上がること間違いなしです。
店舗では1個から購入できるほか、3個〜20個入りのセットがありますので、用途に合わせて選ぶことができますよ！

あの金属バットさんも！
ラジオアプリ「GERA」で放送されている金属バットさんのラジオ番組「金属バットのMusic Sound」でも、この「メロウウィッチ」が登場します。
「#90 結婚発表翌日」（現在は課金しないと聴けないようです）にて……小林さんが結婚されたお祝いに、ラジオスタッフの方が贈ったお菓子が、この「メロウウィッチ」なのです。
小林さんは「紅茶とプルーン」、友保さんは「杏仁アプリコット」を召し上がり、それぞれ「うまい」とおっしゃっています。
友保さんが召し上がった「杏仁アプリコット」は、羽田限定の4個入りにも入っていました。
確実ではないのですが、6個入りを購入すれば、小林さんが召し上がった「紅茶とプルーン」も入っているようです。

What is “MELLOWHICH”?
“MELLO WHICH” currently has three stores located in Shibuya, Tokyo, and in Okinawa.
They offer palm-sized pound cakes that are often described as “jewel-like” for their colorful and stylish appearance.
With more than 12 flavors and over 40 types of packaging to choose from, you can create your own original gift set♪
Whether you carefully select flavors and packaging for yourself, or enjoy picking them out while thinking about the person you’re giving them to, both experiences are sure to lift your spirits!
Each cake is generously filled with nuts and fruits, making even a single piece quite satisfying… but with so many flavors and packaging options available, you might find yourself buying more than you planned!
Among the wide variety of unique flavors, some popular choices include the vibrant red “Framboise,” the boldly topped “Biscuit” with cocoa cookies, and the “Almond Tofu Apricot,” inspired by the flavor of Chinese almond jelly, which seems especially popular among women.
At the Okinawa stores, there are as many as 10 exclusive flavors.
Tropical-inspired options like “Hibiscus” and “Mango” are especially popular, while there are also intriguing flavors such as “Sanpin Tea” (Okinawan jasmine tea) that are sure to catch your interest!
They also offer seasonal flavors and packaging that reflect Japan’s four seasons, such as “Sakura” in spring and “Pumpkin” in autumn, so these are definitely worth checking out as well!
Best-by date
Since “MELLO WHICH” comes in a wide variety of flavors, the shelf life may vary depending on the type. From what can be found online, there seem to be three different shelf-life ranges: approximately two weeks, 30 days, or 60 days from the date of manufacture.
It’s probably a good idea to check this in advance when making a purchase.
In any case, a shelf life of around two weeks and the ability to store them at room temperature make these sweets a very convenient and appreciated souvenir!
How many are inside?
Each “MELLO WHICH” cake is individually wrapped and comes in a cute box!
At around 400 yen per piece, they might be a bit on the pricey side for bulk souvenirs for the workplace… but if you tell your coworkers, “Pick whichever you like!”, it’s sure to get everyone excited as they decide which one to choose.
They are available for purchase individually in stores, as well as in sets ranging from 3 to 20 pieces, so you can choose according to your needs!
